Indianapolis capital city of Indiana is know for the Indianapolis 500, the Brickyard 400 and the NCAA Basketball Championships among its top attractions. Famous as the racing capital of world the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and O'Reilly Raceway Park draw elite auto racers from around the world. The Great Indiana State Fair 2010 is August 6th through the 22nd, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds north of Interstate 70 in Indianapolis. Enjoy the 2010 year of pigs theme in addition to all the traditions of a terrific state fair. Headliners performing include Keith Urban, Rascal Flats, Kiss and Sugarland to name a few. Everyone loves the livestock nursery where newborn calves and piglets can be viewed. See the top livestock and agriculture in Indiana exhibited along with the 4H competitions. Kids love the carnival rides and midway games, as well as fueling with a fried twinkie or corndog. The State Fair is a great summer tradition for everyone.

For a unique event, collectors can enjoy 2010's 20th Annual National Toy Truck 'N Construction show August 20th through the 22nd in downtown Indianapolis. This is one of the largest gatherings of toy truck and toy construction equipment enthusiasts and vendors. There will be three days of open trading, an auction and manufacturers with the latest new models.

The 2010 Rib America Festival comes to Indianapolis September 3rd through the 6th. Celebrate Labor Day Weekend at Military Park in Downtown Indianapolis for a fantastic end of summer getaway. Experience both mouth watering BBQ and performances by nationally recognized entertainers. Concert headliners scheduled include Bret Michaels, Ted Nugent, Collective Soul and Blue Oyster Cult. The Rib Festival is great way to mark the last days of summer vacation.
